About CHI
The Truist Culinary & Hospitality Innovation Center (CHI) is a neighborhood-based venue delivering recreational classes for home cooks, corporate team-building, and job training in the heart of the community.
Designed to bring inclusive economic mobility and workforce development to West Greenville, our innovative facilities are the result of more than $2.7 million in investments spearheaded by Ann Wright at the Greenville Tech Foundation and The Furman Co.

CHI is located in West Greenville at 556 Perry Avenue, Greenville, SC 29611, just one block from Pendleton Street and less than two miles from Greenville's vibrant downtown. CHI opened September 29, 2020, as the anchor tenant of Poe West, formerly the home of Poe Hardware and Supply Co. The Greenville Tech Foundation shares the Poe West facility alongside CHI, and other tenants include Unlocked Coffee Roasters, Carolina Bauernhaus, LaRue Fine Chocolate, and Six & Twenty Distillery.
CHI is proud to have faculty and staff with decades of experience in creating delicious food and educating hungry students. Learn more about what makes our culinary educators experts in their fields.
